Child safety standards

NiteAro is a dating platform for adults only (18+): the website nitearo.com and the “NiteAro – pažintys 18+” apps for Android and iPhone. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

What is prohibited

• any content that depicts, sexualises or refers sexually to a person under 18 – photos, videos, texts, drawings or AI-generated images;
• producing, sharing, storing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
• grooming, contacting or trying to meet a minor for sexual purposes, sextortion and child trafficking;
• registering or using NiteAro if you are under 18, or helping a minor to do so.

How we prevent it

• Only adults can register: every member gives a date of birth and confirms being 18 or older; accounts that appear to belong to a minor are blocked.
• Profiles and photos are reviewed before other members can see them (automatic filters plus human review), night-mode selfies are checked automatically and messages pass content filters.
• Members can block anyone at any time.

How to report

Every profile (it can also be opened from a chat), night post and night chat has a “Report” option; reports go straight to our moderators. You can also write to support@nitearo.com. If a child is in immediate danger, call 112.

What we do

When we learn about CSAE or CSAM, we remove the content, block the accounts immediately, preserve the data law enforcement needs and report confirmed CSAM to the competent authorities – the Lithuanian Police and the national hotline “Švarus internetas” (svarusinternetas.lt) – and, where relevant, to authorities in other countries (for example NCMEC).

Laws we follow

We comply with the child protection laws of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union, including the obligation to report child sexual abuse material, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
